નામ_અહમદ ગુલ

 

 એ એક હાથે કયાં કદી વાગવાનું નામ

સબંધ તો બે હાથે તાળી પાડવાનું નામ

 

વરસાદનું મન છે પલળવાનું ભલે પલળે

કોરા રહી આપશું કંઇ ભીજવાનું નામ

 

જાગી ગયો છે કયારનો અંધાર તેથી તો

લેતું નથી ત્યાં કોઇ તો સૂરજ થવાનું નામ

 

 લખવી પડે છે કે કો’ લખાવે છે ગઝલ તુજથી

પાસે કશું તો જોઇએં ગમ ભૂલવાનું નામ

 

 એને હૃદયનાં ખૂણે ખૂણે ‘ગુલ’ લટકવા દો

ભીંતો ઉપર ક્યાં કદી છે ટાંગવાનું નામ

RELATTIONSHIP

 

It is not a clapping with one hand

Relationship is clapping two hands

 

Let the rain drench it self in water

We’ll get wet even thou remaining dry

 

The darkness has woken up for long

And some one does not arrive like Sun

 

I have no choice but to write gazhals

One must have an excuse to drown sorrows

 

O Gul, fix the name in every corner of heart

It is not to be fixed on the wall after all
